Standard consumer telephones can be used with the system. All handsets and telephones, whether they be wireless or wired must meet the BT industry standards.
This depends on how many telephone host panels you have and how many outlets there are in the property. A single Telephone Host panel (HC 04 HOST) fitted in the swing frame of the home networking sciences chassis provides a distribution point for each telephone line. The Host board can service 3 to 4 telephones (depending on how it has been terminated). Each connection point (RJ45) can then be patched to another panel with has the structured cabling terminated, thus in turn providing the telephone service to the desired location/room in the property.
