TV / Video / DAB Distribution
The TV system allows analogue and digital terrestrial TV, Satellite TV, CCTV, FM and DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) to be distributed to multiple viewing locations throughout the property, using your existing equipment.
Video sources, such as VCRs, hard disk recorders, and DVD players may also be distributed by this system. The TV system also passes infra-red commands from handsets and remote controls, giving you complete control.
The standard system can service up to eight viewing locations connected at any one time. This can be extended by a further seven locations using the TV expansion unit (Part No: HC TV 08 EX).
The TV system mixes both external and internal signals, then distributes the combine signals around the property. All TV distribution elements should be cabled in CT100 grade coaxial cable. Connections to the TV distribution unit are made by standard F-Type connectors.
Once the combined feeds have been passed down to the viewing location, simplex, duplex, triplex and quad outlet plates are used to separate the signals and provide the appropriate signal for viewing.
Note: A second LNB feed must be routed directly to the main viewing point to accommodate Sky+ installations.
